UNITED NATIONS, March 8 (Prensa Latina) UN Special Rapporteur for the Right to Privacy, Joseph Cannataci, demanded today the cessation of actions to monitor people, particularly laws promoted in the United States, France, Germany and the United Kingdom.

In his most recent report to the Human Rights Council, the expert denounced the increase in surveillance initiatives, which undermined the right to privacy.

Cannataci rejected the impact in the digital era of such anti-terrorist measures.

Naciones Unidas, 8 mar (PL) El relator especial de la ONU para el derecho a la privacidad, Joseph Cannataci, demandó hoy el cese de acciones para vigilar a las personas, en particular las leyes promovidas en Estados Unidos, Francia, Alemania y Reino Unido.
En su más reciente reporte al Consejo de Derechos Humanos, el experto denunció el incremento de las iniciativas de vigilancia, las cuales menoscaban el derecho a la privacidad.
