In an exclusive dialogue hosted by the Internet Society on 16 June, the Special UN Rapporteur on Privacy (SRP) commented on several themes, including on the definition and nature of privacy, privacy as a right and as an enabler of one’s personality, the roots of privacy as a long established construct, the links between privacy and security, and the future of privacy in the rapidly evolving online context.
