Professor Joe Cannataci participated in the “Privacy in the Next Administration” panel at EPIC’s Data Protection 2016 public forum and delivered the EPIC Champion of Freedom Award to former FTC Chief Technology Officer (and privacy advocate) Ashkan Soltani during the EPIC Awards Dinner, which took place on June 6th 2016 at the National Press Club, Washington D.C. EPIC is a public interest research center in Washington, DC. focused on protecting privacy, freedom of expression, and democratic values in the information age.
