Chawki Gaddes is the President of the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data of Tunis (INPDP) since 5 May 2015. A jurist of 54 years, Chawki Gaddes is a specialist in public law, information and technology law and electoral law. He is a lecturer at the University of Carthage (FSJPST), trainer in electoral process and secretary general of the Tunisian Association of Constitutional Law (ATDC). He was also a member of the National Fact-Finding Commission on Abuses Committed During the Revolution.
